What areas do you cover?
ReVamp Interiors are based in St. Albans so most of our projects to date have been in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Subject to travel/time costs being covered, Emma is happy to travel nationwide and overseas where you are interested in our design-only service.
Where you are looking for ReVamp Interiors to implement your design and project manage the works from beginning to end, we can only undertake this in our local vicinity due to working only with our trusted network of local trades and sub-contractors. Most project-managed interior implementations are therefore in and around St. Albans, with works having been undertaken in Radlett, Harpenden, Bushey, Park Street, Bricket Wood, Welwyn, and Redbourn. It ultimately depends on timelines, size of job, and other commitments the wider ReVamp business has on the go.
How much will it cost to enlist ReVamp’s Interior Design services for my home?
As every design project undertaken is unique and tailored to each client, costs are advised on a case-by-case basis. I offer both a design-only service or full implementation / project management of your design from beginning to end where location and timelines are feasible. I can also offer a colour-only consultation if you’re simply looking to change up the colours of a room.
Your initial consultation is free where I will be able get a detailed understanding of your home ambitions and discuss the services I offer and where I may be able to help. I will then follow up with a summary design brief to clarify understanding and outline my fees if you’d like to engage the services of ReVamp Interiors moving forward.
Do you offer an online Interior Design service?
Yes. If you are looking for a design-only service we can have an online consultation to discuss your requirements and I will be able to provide you with ideas and visuals for a decorative redesign of the space(s) in question. A FaceTime consultation will enable you to walk me through your home, show me the room(s) you’re looking to redesign so I have my starting point whilst then homing in to what you’re wanting to achieve with a new design.
Where do I start?
If you are interested to know more about our Interior Design services, costs and how we may be able to work together, please call or email Emma directly.
We’ll have an initial consultation so I can get a detailed understanding of your home ambitions and the services you may require from me. This first consultation is a free, no-obligation exploratory meeting for us both.
Next, I will follow up with a summary design brief to clarify understanding and outline my fees if you’d like to engage the services of ReVamp Interiors going forward.
What’s the process?
The next steps depend on the breadth of your project but could look something like this:
- I conduct a detailed survey of the space we’re designing, taking dimensions and photos for reference and design planning.
- During this on-site meeting I’ll also discuss the design brief with you in more detail.
- Back in my design studio I’ll then work through the survey and brief to come up with some high-level design ideas
- When we meet again I’ll share a concept board with you and various images and colour schemes to discuss, tweak and agree the direction of the design
- I’ll then get in to the detail of your design, drawing up floor plans, choosing specific colours, looking at furniture, fittings, accessories, window treatments, fabrics etc. – all depending on your brief and requirements
- I’ll then present the design(s) to you, with various visuals from mood boards to sample boards, fabric/covering samples and floor plan for special visualisation.
- We agree any fine tuning to the design
- I can either hand over to you at this point or I can provide detailed brief and quote for sourcing products and / or project managing the design from beginning to end if your timelines and location are feasible for ReVamp
Can you provide references on your work?
Absolutely, we would strongly recommend you get customer references from any designer as part of your decision process. Take a read of some of our customer testimonials here. If you are looking to appoint ReVamp Interiors, we will happily provide references you can contact to get first-hand feedback on the works we have undertaken for them.
Why choose ReVamp to help with the interior design of my home?
Emma brings to the table both experience and learned skills. Her experience is gained through many years developing houses for maximum resale, where Emma has chosen all the interiors from the kitchens to the bathrooms, the flooring to the stairs, the colour schemes to the lighting. Read more about Emma here.
It therefore seemed the natural next step to fully take ReVamp in to the world of Interiors and Emma formally retrained in Interior Design, graduating with a diploma from The Interior Design Institute. The beauty of interior design, and how a room comes together harmoniously, lies in the detail. It’s all about homing in to a customer’s requirements and preferences, identifying any problems that need resolving, and together coming up with designs that enable the customer to fall in love with their home all over again.
As ReVamp Interiors is just one part of ReVamp Home Improvements, we can also pull on the expertise of the company’s building services where works are to be undertaken. Over the years we have built up a reliable crew of sub-contractors to carry out specific jobs, all specialists in their respective trade areas and familiar with the high standards we expect - they consist of builders, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, carpenters, roofers, tilers, decorators and many more.
Additionally we have moved over 10 times ourselves, every design being an enhancement on the home before and we have therefore learnt a few things along the way. Emma brings this practical and creative insight with her to every interior she has the pleasure of designing.
